Pasquale…this is a very belated THANK YOU for the fantastic job you did on my TJ and Haynes flutes. The TJ plays better than when it was new!! The Haynes is a dream..so QUIET. Maybe part of the secret is those Straubinger pads. I looked in my files and found that my very old Haynes got S. pads when it was rebuilt in 1993 but my new Haynes (2001) which you just overhauled did NOT come with S. pads. Whatever…I am practicing like crazy on the new Haynes and loving it!
In the fall I will see which of my other flutes needs your magic touch.

I was so thrilled to have it back to perform for all of my concerts this week! Thank you for your amazing work and bringing the sound back to the way it was before I began having so many problems. I’ve only been able to practice piccolo off and on the last few weeks, but it sounds like a totally different instrument and is much easier to play. Thanks for taking such care and restoring it to its former glory so that I want to play it now and do it justice.

Pasquale is wonderful! He is highly skilled, professional, friendly, and reliable, and I whole-heartedly recommend him. He was first recommended to me by a local college flute professor when one of my flutes was seriously damaged shortly before a recital. Pasquale was so skilled at readjusting the keys and removing the dent that the flute is now as good as new. He even fixed some loose parts in my case free of charge without my asking him. I was so happy with the result that I immediately brought my backup flute to him as well. It had suffered a bad overhaul many years ago, and had very noisy and stiff keys. It now plays as smoothly and quietly as it did when I first bought it — and it’s just as sparkling clean. Again Pasquale fixed parts of the case unasked, realigning a section to take some pressure off the keys and hold the flute more securely.
The flutes were both ready when promised, and I found his prices very reasonable. I always hate feeling pressured to spend more money than I want, so it was a very pleasant surprise when Pasquale actually dissuaded me from the more expensive repairs I initially thought I would need. I am very grateful for his work and will definitely go back to him next time I need maintenance or repairs on my flutes.

I knew you would do a great job with the overhaul, as I have had you overhaul my flute and piccolo. But what impressed me even more is that you took the time to consider Bob’s physical issues. Your suggestion to remove the trill keys was brilliant! What a huge difference it has made! I so appreciate your compassion and creativity. Bob loves the flute, and now he can play much more easily.
